    Hi All

I'm looking to see if anyone has ever been to the Canton fair… is it worth the time heading over China.
I’d be interested in meeting some mens clothing suppliers!!

    Thanks in advance

    Pual

    Hi OP.

Firstly Guangzhou is not particularly nice and not very easy to get too from Ireland. Its a flight to Hong Kong and then a train which will bring you to Guangzhou East station. So the trip with hotels is probably going to cost you 1.5k during the fair.

Unless your a major buyer a lot of the exhibitors who will entertain you will be independent sales agents who buy from manufactures in poor provinces and resell to you.

Many will not be fully aware of the capabilities of their suppliers so you may face a lot of frustration and hear a lot of tall tales when you ask detailed questions.

Yiwu might be a better bet unless your a big buyer.

If you have a Chinese partner, make sure you bring them with you !
