    Hi all,

I currently have a meteor 50GB subscription which is 3G. We now have 4G in the area so am looking at upgrading the dongle and subscription to 4G.

I'm working what is generally regarded as the best setup for a 4G connection? Dongle and router etc...

    Thanks

You'll be going back to 30GB I'm afraid as they don't do the 50GB any more.

I've bad signal in my area so I use
    USB modem with a
    3m USB cable into a
    TP Link MR3420 Router

Also is there any guide here for using external antenna?

Unless you have a student in your house. I have 50GB plan for €20 pm with meteor.
I have the B593s-22 router with an outdoor ariel for decent 4G speeds. Averaging 15-20 Mbps each way.

What antenna have you got? Is it just a case of connecting the antenna to the router?

I can't remember the exact make but it's a 4G LTE outdoor (twin) antenna with twin cables that screw directly to the modem,
