social welfare and btea Christmas payments

    Hey.can someone please clarify this for me...I get paid my btea on Tues 29th but I see on the social welfare website that anyone getting paid social welfare on Tues the 29th(thru the bank) will instead be paid this Thurs 24th because the banks and post offices are closed...but I have been told my btea won't be in until the 29th. .I don't understand. .is there a difference between btea and any other social welfare payment. .its stressing me out cos I have a car insurance payment due on the 24th and was relying on getting paid early
