Basketball hoops near Monkstown

Just moved into the area and looking for a hoop I can use for free. In an apartment so getting my own isn't an option. Just want to get some practice in without needing to pay.

Both of these are a bit away from monkstown, maybe there is closer, but there are basketball courts here. I see kids playing there, no idea if they just hop into the place though, as it looks like a school

Yeah I think that's public, it's right next to a primary school but I don't think they own it. I've never seen it locked and if you look at the fence it separates the school completely from the courts. The kids do play there during the week though, so it's not always available.

Also Honey Park on the site of the old Dun Laoghaire golf club has some I think, in the park behind Tesco Park Pointe.

I've only driven around there once though and didn't really take notice of what the access arrangements are. Could be worth a look as they are quite new.
