Emissions fail

    VW Golf 1.4 2002

    low idle Co 0.33‰ above 0.30 fail
    (760 rpm) HC 90 PPM above 0 pm fail

    High Idle lambda 1.02 not between 0.97 and 1.03
    (2,790rpm) Co 0.34% above 0.20 fail
    HC 63 ppm above 200 ppm

    Will dipetane, be of any use with these readings? All advice very much appreciated.

    Not that I can tell only had a car a month.

    Oil level is the same as when I got the car, just checked there.

    Just want to update this in case it might help someone else. It was a faulty thermostat, car passed today.:D
