Headlight Bulbs

I find the high beam on my headlights not the greatest. They're aligned properly and focused etc, but not a brilliant light.

The bulbs are H7 55w, no manufactures name on them.

Any suggestion for a better bulb?

Car is an X3 (F25)

You could try one of the high output bulbs such as Osram Nightbreakers or Philips Extreme Vision, which offer about double the light output over standard H7s. They are 55w so perfectly legal. The higher output is achieved at the cost of shorter life, so be prepared to change them more frequently. They are also more expensive.

Halfords do their own brand versions, which may be a bit cheaper.

both are decent ive used both . dont expect miracles but they will improve it a bit. ive always found that crowd the cheapest to get them off

Nightbreakers are good but for me they last exactly a year and no more.

I've only used osram nightbreakers for the last few years and they are a big improvement is struggle to go away from them back to normal bulbs. Shorter life but I'd still get a year of of them depends on your driving really. They are well worth the shorter life and higher cost imo. Micksgarage always sells them at a quite reasonable price.

Would recommend the Nightbreaker Unlimited. Recently swapped out a pair and the difference was noticeable.
