PS4 Budget Gaming Headset

Looking for some help here, I'm Dublin based and need to pick up a budget gaming headset for the PS4. Something around 50 to 60 euro. This is needed as a present for a 15yr old so guess that leaves shop bought rather than on line. Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated.

i recently got Sony PS4 Headset.
picked it up in gamestop when trading in a game and got it for 64euro i think.
It's wireless and has decent enough sound, uses a usb dongle and a mic is built into headset.
Overall i'm very happy with it.
strangely enough Smyths had it for 64 before the black Friday sales , but it went up during them.
it might not be budget enough if full price tho .

Thanks, yes without a discount its probably out of my budget. Really looking for sub 60e if possible

Thanks, but there is no mic, but I see for 33e there is one with a mic the turtle beach XL1.
My budget lets me go to 60e and if possible I would prefer to get closer to that and possibly get a better headset. Thanks for the suggestion.

There is a mic, I have the exact same headset and its great.

That looks good, I googled it there but can't find who sells it in Dublin. Looks very like the TURTLE BEACH EAR FORCE X12 in Smyths

It's a kris-kindle present with a 60e limit. So while the cheaper headsets are probably good enough, I might go with something closer to the limit.

Smyths sell the Disney headset for 15, its actually slightly better than the x12 for sound. If you want to spend near 60 then smyths also have another turtle beach at that price point.

Thanks I do appreciate that not always more money is better. Maybe the cheaper headset with something else is what I should do. Thanks for the info.

There a few games reduced to under 30 as low as 10 on argos at the moment too so maybe one of them to go with it.

Maybe you got a dodgy one? a lot of people are really happy with that as a purchase.

Just as an update, I did look at the marvel super hero set but the boys 14 and wouldn't be into that.
I got the turtle beach 60p for 60e and while its a bit plastic the sound is great and he's happy. Thanks for all the suggestions.
