anyone know how to reset this? Had a puncture and now the on board computer can't find the tyre pressure warning sensor.

nb I have reset it as per the manual and I do not still have a puncture.

From other cars with similar problem the cause was improper fitting at tyre place where sensor was damaged.

Thanks...I'll call back in there.... care to give me an overview of where it is and how it works? Could it have been damaged when I had the flat?

Go into your menu on the dash scroll through till you find tyre monitoing press and hold the reset button till it tells you its reset.

Did you get a new tyre or drive it flat its possible the sensor is damaged.

Sounds like whoever changed the tyre damaged the sensor.

that's what I was wondering. Is it fitted to the valve or what?

It is the valve. Have a look around the valve there should be a line going around it half an inch or so from the top.

We see a lot of these coming in with damaged sensors after having tyres fitted ford dealer would be your best bet they would have sensors and can programme them.

It's a standard valve that's been fitted. tyre place claim original was damaged. How likely is that? Stopped immediately the warning came up on dash

Seen it loads of times they break the valve then put in an ordinary one and say nothing.
Then customer comes into us giving out that there is a light on the dash.

You can drive it its not going to cause problems book it into your nearest dealer for a new sensor only takes a few minutes to fit and learn it to the control module.
I think the sensor is about thirty euro.
