i know a person who is an alcoholic and drinks into the early hours of the morning and then drives to work. im sure the person is still under the influence when they go to work. i tried helping them with their alcoholism but to no effect so i have decided to do the next best thing and report them for drink driving. how do i do it and remain anonymous?

Maybe 1st step is get them one of those alcohol level testers, and that might make them cut back, if they still persist drink driving then maybe report them, very serious reporting them so make sure you give them every chance to cop on.

Quoted your whole post - still stand by my first post. None of this maybe rubbish - report them end of. They've made their choice and the OP tired to help so now they must face the consequences before someone does

popa smurf - drink driving has been a severe problem in Ireland, resulting in many deaths. The OP is right to be concerned if indeed, the person does drink & drive regularly.

Well I'm sure if he isn't over the limit the Guards will send him on his way.

Just report it, no need for chances etc..
