Expecting society to cater to your opinion.

This is something I've noticed recently. Some people think the world should cater to their personal opinion.

For example, publicly breastfeeding in a non discrete manner is quite a divisive topic. Personally it doesn't bother me one bit, what annoys me though is when people unilaterally declare what should and shouldnt be disgusting or disturbing.

Some people find public breastfeeding disgusting, some don't. Neither opinion is wrong. People are allowed to be disgusted by whatever.

If 99% of the population is disgusted by a particular unnecessary behaviour there is an argument to be made not to allow it. That's kind of how society works. Most people don't want to see random naked people so it has been declared illegal to be naked in public. So it annoys me when people declare what should and shouldn't be allowed in public.
