New born calf yesterday morning, nice calf too so I`m going to register him with the Charolais society. Thing is I`m not sure if he`s out of my own stock bull or is it an AI calf.
Is D.N.A.ing the calf an option, can they tell and how much would it cost?
Plus how long would it take to get the results back?

Yeah you can dna, the society can do it for you or else get on to weatherbys or icbf for a sample kit and tell them the code of the ai bull used and they will check if they are related. Cost 30 to 50 euro I think. If you are registering with the society they will prob dna him anyway as part of fee?
