    Hi all,

long time viewer of this forum first time poster. I am looking for ideas for a new car switching from diesel to petrol. Don't want anything too under powered and would like something with hi spec. budget of around 6-6.5k with 2.5-3k trade in. Have been looking at both passats and golf 1.4 tsi but every hard to find a nice hi spec example. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks

. Given the cars u mentioned, I take it you want to keep motor tax low, otherwise plenty of options at that budget for a6 a8 or 5 or 7 series...

Thanks for the reply. would like to keep it low. 2.0 being the max with 710e tax. Also would like to have lowish running costs if that makes sense.

    Hi.
Most were diesel alright. Petrol ones are scarce enough here. ( Plenty of MK1's alright)

The a6 twin turbo 2l petrol would have decent poke and some should have decent spec. Honda Accord might be another option...
