Multi lnb set up.

    Hi all,
So after the recent bout of windy weather we've had and the bracket on my motorised dish being ripped assunder, I've decided to ditch the motor for a multi lnb set up. Thats 2 motor brackets gone in just over 12 months! I had set that up myself so I know the basics. My question is, on a multi lnb set up, aiming for 28.2E, 23.5E, 19E and 13E on a 90cm dish, do I need to set one of the lnb's as close to the centre arm as possible or does this not matter? The bracket for the multi lnb holder will slot in where a single lnb would normally sit so no lnb will be sitting in prime center position. I'm thinking that once I can tune in one sat though, the rest will just follow suit. Which satellite should I tune in first?

    Centre it on 19.0 E I'd say. I'm in Cavan I can get these on a T90.

    Thanks Urbanfret,
Classy set up there. Considered a T90 but seeing as I already had the dish decided to go with a multi lnb holder. I'll take your advice and centre on 13 and tune the rest from there.

Think looking at the spacings you might be better centering on 19.0.

So this is how I set it up, centred on 19E and all is working well. More pics to follow of my weather battered dish and clear view of the horizon :)

Nice set up excollier. What receiver were you using to take 5 sats
    ?

6 sats, was using an old Technomate 5300 so no HD. Back to a single lnb now and just Freesat on a Foxsat HDR.
I should set it up for multisat, but I watch little tv these days so couldn't be bothered.

Its mad isn't it. I was mad into satellite TV a few years back. 1.1m Motor installation and a multi lnb 90cm, but now I have lost complete interest in FTA, Feed hunting, watching foreign channels.

I find I watch 95% of stuff on internet or downloads now.
Only Live sport I watch via satellite now a days.

Sure is. Now, instead, I waste far too much time in front of a computer screen, quite apart from the fact that I work in IT.
