Mazda 6 - 08' Model spare wheel query

    I'm looking for a 17 inch wheel or rim that'll fit my 1.8 08' Mazda 6.

According to some (a breakers yard included) the previous model Mazda 6's wheels won't fit it. Yet I've seen these previous models going around with the 08, 09, 10 model wheels on them.

Would anyone know anything about what other car makes wheels if any at all would do the job so I can broaden my search because at the moment I'm finding it very difficult to find a spare, as in a Mazda 6 08' rim and I could do with one badly.

    5x114.3 is the fitment.

There's a crowd on eBay that break a lot of Mazda 6's called AS Cars. Might be worth seeing if they have one. A steel wheel would be a cheaper option mind.

Possibly the Ford Mondeo from the same era would be same wheel nut spacings.

doesn't necessarily need to be a 17 inch either, my car has a space saver and its nothing close to the original size wheel, it;l get ya home but I woudnet be drive around with it on otherwise

From what I can gather space savers are pricey enough.

A lad already tried a Mondeo rim and an Avensis rim too, from the same era and no luck with those.

Ideally I'm looking for a steel rim, I'll have no bother finding an old tyre somewhere and firing it on.
