Paypal invalid phone number

Hi all. I'm having a problem using Paypal to pay for goods online. It keeps rejecting my mobile phone number as invalid. I put it in as +35387XXXXXXX. Is there a correct way to put in my phone number?:confused: Thanks in advance.

Actually both being the same number, one's just prefix cut short.

Contact paypal first .
