What was the name of that TV show?

I remember a TV programme from when I was a kid but I can't remember the name of it. Hopefully someone on here can tell me.
What I remmeber:
It was an English kids TV show but it would have been shown on RTE around the late 90s early 00s.
The opening titles had a boy riding his bicycle in the countryside and then he hit something and went flying into the air.
There were sheep puppets in it and I think they were living underground.

Great idea for a thread. In the same vein can anyone recall the name of a 90s kids live action show that used to air on Network 2 back in the day. It was about a group of kids, young teens who I believe had English accents who all live on a carribean island and solve mysteries. I think the main character was a blonde haired boy whose father drove a convertible jeep. It's been niggling at me for some time.
