2 years ago today was my first time back as a full time vaper, had last ciggie evening of the 16th using my Tesla di*do lookalike with an Aspire Nautilus and just knew THAT WAS IT it was so much better than the egos etc.. I had tried before and they just didn't do the trick well enough.
Being a 30-40 a day smoker I can safely say that I have saved well over 10k and that is AFTER deduction of money spend on my current 10 or so mods, 16 or more tanks plus enough *gear* to make at least 10L of juice still in the cupboard.
Did I mention feeling SO much better health wise :-)
    VAPE ON.... :-)

Well done! I'm 10 months off the smokes now and I feel great

Good on ya! I am on my third month off cigarettes. Good luck to anyone giving up. Allow some time to make the change and don't worry if you smoke cigarettes and vape at the same time.

I did not like the flavoured e-juice mainly because they were too sweet and sticky. Now I am using 'base' only and it's much better. I am on my fourth tank. One leaked and the glass broke in the other two so my advice for anyone starting is don't spend a load on your tank. The eGo One TC I have for a few weeks has died and the tank was rubbish and the company are not even returning emails.

Well done you! March of next year will be my 2 year anniversary.

The vape works - it's all about harm reduction. I could have been 5 or 6 years off the smokes if I'd got into vaping when I'd first found out about it. My only regret is waiting and not starting earlier.

Another true Northside success. Congratulations. Fantastic to see anyone break the "difficult 2nd year" syndrome and I know there's quite a few here.
BTW : Was in Weatherspoons, weekend before last. No problems vaping indoors.
Still so hard not to call it "The Hat". :-)

6 years gone & still vaping, thanks to a biker mate in Germany who introduced vaping to me,I never heard of e-cigs here until around 2012,we have come a long way in the vaping world over the last few years.
Well done everyone....We all deserve a pat on the back for giving up that horrible weed.

Ex 30-40 a day smoker. Aug 2012 for me IIRC. So 3 years 3 months in total with a month back on the fags between July/Aug 2013. 2 years 4 months without a break since. Ran out of juice and bought a packet of fags for some crazy reason. After a month I really asked myself WTF did I think I was doing!! Ordered new clearos and some juice and change-over day was an absolute doddle. It was like I had never stopped vaping and never restarted smoking. Painless transition back. ie. Quite unlike the initial switch from smoking to vaping where it was 2 or 3 weeks of smoking and vaping at the same time and where a small amount of craving and willpower was involved. Just shows how its all in the head really. Second time round getting back to vaping I didn't need to convince myself that vaping might be the answer and I just had to stick with it....I KNEW that it WAS the answer and thus the transition back to vaping was instantaneous and painless. Just kicked myself that I'd nearly blown more on fags in that single month than I'd spent on juice before or since! I've been lucky that I found my forever juice and forever clearo and iSticks very early and so didn't blow a fortune on mods and batteries and juices filling up a cupboard.
