    hi all,
I have a ford focus est and I would like to know if it is possible to get cvr test done to it, and what modification would be needed?

use it on farm, but have never had a commercial vehicle before?!

    any help appreciated.

    thanks,

Is there somewhere, someone I could ring re this?

Nct is cheaper and lasts for two years if it is under ten years where as doe only lasts for one year.

Plus there is no such thing as a focus estate van so you may have trouble converting it to a commercial with dept of transport for tax purposes.

ya same as that, looks like it only needs to take out back seats and belts, the back of seats fall down to act as floor.
    can this be done?
    thanks,

A few years ago you could reg them as a van, because vrt was paid at passenger rate already, you didn't have to black the windows out.
Not sure how it goes nowadays though.

see mixed notes online, that the blacking out the windows doesn't have to be done now.. I dunno. would it be worth ringing the test center to find out??

There are different classifications for factory built commercial vehicles.
Best person to find is a SQI
