    Hi all,
Been scouring the internet for a single din radio with pop up screen and bluetooth calling. Its a present for herself .
I'm looking for recommendations. Is there anywhere other than halfords selling from shop? I doubt any courier could deliver one online in time now but I stand to be corrected.
I don't want to go above €200 if possible.

What car is it for, some times the pop out units can obscure some of the other cars features/ buttons etc.

Cheap units are pretty bad be honest with terrible sound quality and glitchy sofware. If on a budget you would be better of with a second hand unit from Pioneer or the likes.

Hyundai tucson. Herself really wants one. Personally I'd prefer to avoid and just get a good single din bluetooth unit than pop up screens.. think sunlight glare!

tucson has a double DIN bracket available. Id be more inclined to go with that.

200 is a pretty low budget for a media head unit , and at that price the ripspeed dv740 is probably the most your going to get, those units are not great by any means but are the best of the flip out's in that price range.

The flip out screen can be distracting at night and virtually useless most of the time (especially on the cheaper units). Some of them are deeper than a regular head unit too so if buying one make sure that there's enough room in the dash for it.

€200 won't buy you a decent flip out head unit though. It will buy you a decent regular head unit however that will do everything a flip up head unit will do apart from play DVD's and of course it will be lacking the flip out screen too. Two features that will be really of little benefit to the driver.
