Anyone else living at an address that tesco don't deliver to?

I was a regular user of tescos home delivery service until I moved house 6 months ago. My new house is only a short walk to the nearest tesco shop and delivery depot. Yet tesco do not deliver to my address. My new house is in the same general area as my old house. They deliver to the houses directly across the road from me. I have been on to their customer service a number of times and keep getting a general 'sorry but we don't deliver' with no explanation. It's not a dodgy area or anything. The staff in my local store have told me a number of times that my area is definitely covered and that there must be some sort of glitch in the system but again when I contact the customer service department, I get nowhere :( Pity because I really miss the convenience of it :( Anyone else had similar problems?

Have a chat with the branch manager, I doubt s/he would be too happy to hear they're missing out on customers due to a glitch.

I have asked for the branch manager a few times and he hasn't been available so I was told to ring and ask for him and leave a message, which I did a few times but got no response.

Anyway, I emailed them and just asked them once and for all to give me a reason as to why they do not deliver and they got back to me with the following:
I'm sorry for any confusion caused. Your postcode isn't currently covered by any store. Each store has a limited number of addresses that they can cover. This is why a store doesn't deliver to your address.

And it has occurred to me now that if this is the case, that they have a limited number of addresses, then they probably don't deliver to any of the nearest addresses to the store as these are the people most likely to actually shop with them. A pity but at least I have some sort of explanation now :(
