N64 on an AOC lcd monitor

    Hi people,

I was just reading over an old thread about using a modded s-video cable for N64, and ye seem quite the knowledgeable bunch. I wonder if ye could help?

I'm trying to get my 64 working on a flatscreen AOC lcd monitor with vga and hdmi inputs on it.

I have a converter box thingy that gets my ps2 going just fine on this monitor, but the 64 is an unplayable mess.

Is it do-able? Must I fork out a heap of cash for a super fancy converter?

I don't have an old TV, and won't be getting one, so the monitor is my only option, and I'm jonesing hard for some Xmas Mario kart!

    Any help/ideas hugely appreciated.

Apologies for my lack of expertise in this area!
