Hi. I travel a fair bit watching out for deals etc. I got reasonable flights over the New Year period with Aer Lingus so booked then went looking for accommodation. As I expected I had to pay above the odds for a Hotel but the reasonable flights made the overall deal worthwhile. Then I get a mail from Aer Lingus flying me out a day earlier! I have no accommodation and Hotel prices for that time of year for one night is mind boggling. I rang and all they offered me is a refund on the flights but I can't get a refund on my Hotel. Looked at their website and it seems that they can actually do this! It seems crazy that they do not even have to pay SOMETHING towards Hotel costs. Has anyone had previous experience or can offer advice?
