Maybe this has been covered before but who other than the parent's and relations of a child wants to hear them being spoken to on the radio?

And now we have four year old John on...

    "Hi John"
    "Hello"
    "How are you John?"
    "Good"
"Are you looking forward to Christmas?"
    "Yes"
    Etc Etc

    I have to switch station...

    I just don't get it.

This was a darcy staple. Its horrific. No one at all wants to listen to this.

Even worse when the kid is deemed to be "great craic".

kids on the radio or parents on the radio ****eing on about their kids really bugs the fcuk out of me. that alison curtis one is worse then darcy when it comes to kids and their over fawning parents on national radio. its like the feckers on facebook who post nothing but their kids

This was on the IT website yesterday may not be radio but not far off

Exactly, really annoys me ... kids are like farts, you tolerate your own.

Worse again... kids with South Dublin accents. The only kind to be heard on RTE Radio

I made an exception, years ago, in respect of School Around The Corner with Paddy Crosbie.
