Most stuff I've ordered from them has arrived next day

May be a bit busier this time of year I guess

If you order before 1pm, they charge €2.99 for next day delivery.
I ordered last Wednesday and it arrived on Friday with standard free post.

And the one time I went for that, they failed to deliver the next day (a Friday, so had to wait until after the weekend), and someone on here who didn't bother paying it and ordered around the same time got their delivery that day instead. Personally I'd avoid that particular offering

I have caught the post man at the door as he put the slip in the door. Sometimes its just ridiculous. The guy had them pre filled and was just dropping them in, when I queried it, he admitted he couldn't take the parcels so he just done this instead, sometimes you get the van, sometimes you got the slip.

Also ordered a couple of bits from CRC on Wednesday and just got them now. Pretty good for this time of year.

As the country song went, sometimes you get the ring, sometimes you get the finger.

I've had issues with the next day delivery in the past, but my last couple of orders have been next day when I've paid for it.

ordered thursday night at 11pm and just arrived with post man about 30 mins ago. well worth the e2.99 extra - especially at this time of year

I ordered on Friday and got a 'Dispatched' email, but An Post doesn't recognise the tracking number.

It's the most wonderful time of the year ♫♪♫ - courier came to the door the other day with two big cases of wine. I had to tell him regretfully, licking my lips, that he had the address wrong.

Ordered from CRC today. Arrived yesterday.

    Fantastic service

Package arrived today; apparently the tracking number that's issued doesn't go live until the package is travelling through the An Post system. I never heard its like.

It's not actually uncommon in postage and couriers but I think a complicating factor is that from what I gather CRC seem to get a daily collection van up from An Post to expedite shipment (bypassing the need to be handed over from RM) so they only hit the system when that van gets unloaded. Doubtless there are a bunch of tracking numbers and/or labels provided to CRC in advance that they correlate but they don't go live until they're scanned, which happens to be that bit later.

That's some service alright. Did you select the "order by time machine" option on their website? :D

I always consider it but an extra 2.99 for time travel seems excessive.

Ordered yesterday and landed this morning. Just new cleats and a pair of bar ends. If it was something I was waiting for I'm sure it would g Ave taken longer :)
