    Hi,

In some difficulty at the moment. Below are two pictures of the back brake on a MF135. On the right hand side of image is a tab where the brake springs clip onto. There are two, one for each shoe. I broke one of these taking off the spring. Don't ask me how this happened. I have searched the internet for two hours and can't find it or even a description of it. On the other side of the backing plate this comes out as a bolt with slot at top. Would anyone know if it possible to get these or even what they are called. They retain the brake shaft in the backing plate. Don't know why they are slotted.

    Thanks.

a breakers yard might be your best bet,id split the nut or heat to get the nut off you would probably ring it taking it off should be easy to get a nut for it.

It's not the nut that's the problem. The piece inside the brake drum, the tab that the spring hooks onto.

id say the nut is threaded on the end of the part you are talking about.
