    Hi,

I have an Amazon.com gift card and trying to order a Kindle online but the won't ship to Ireland (even when I filter on eligible for Ireland shipping). Any ideas how to work around this?

    thanks
    J

It could be like Kindle UK, that items does not ship outside UK, as some apps are restricted to work in UK only.

Others might have other ways, but I think only option would be using a company like Shipto that will receive the item and forward to Ireland. You might have to pay customs when it reaches Ireland.

Thanks, I was hoping (naively) there would be another option as the cost of the mail forwarder and potential custom tax would make up more than 50% of the cost of the Kindle. :(
