Hi, I recently upgraded my laptop from windows 8 to windows 10. I got the following bluecreen error yesterday - "the boot configuration data file is missing some required information. File:\Boot\BCD. Error code 0xc000000d."

The laptop won't boot up. I had a Microsoft windows 8 disc but I can't locate it now.

What can I do to fix this? Any advice appreciated thanks
