We have a stainless frying pan.
Can anyone give some tips on how to cook/fry with one.

I have one that I got in Ikea because I was sick to death of non-stick coatings that wouldn't stay put no matter what! I find it good to cook with, I just heat the pan until it's quite hot and then add some oil, when the oil is well heated I put the food in. I don't let the pan get mad hot as it's not necessary and it will release the food when it's time to turn over. You can't get away without using oil or fat of some kind but I found all the so-called non-stick pans needed oil too. They're also easy to clean with a bit of a soak. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the reply. Think I was using too much heat.
