broadband sender around house cables and wifi combo

Hi guys,
I have a set of network adaptors from aldi about 9 yrs old and they send broadband through my cables in house.they work fine but ive no idea what speed they send etc, so dont know if i could be getting better speeds etc.
im looking to get a new set but not too expensive.i was wondering is there such ones that do the same but have 2 wifi antennas on them so they improve wifi in area too?
Ive seen separate wifi senders, and ones like mine for sale. Is there any combo ones?

Those 9-yr old adaptors would have a max rated output of 200mbps. The actual output would be 33% of that, maximum. Have a look at Amazon.co.uk. They have a big range of Homeplugs (adaptors) Get a minimum of 500mbps ones. There's a range of BT kits that have wifi built in.

At 9 years old they could be 85Mb ("Turbo") or even just 14Mb with effective output a third of that.
What model are they? Is anything written on them at all?
You might see a huge difference with a new set!

Thanks guys,
they are targa ones from either lidl or aldi.
i see ones nowadays are 500mb and over.
just wondering is there a combo ones that sends the signal through the wires and has wifi antenna on the adaptor that will boos the wifi around that room too?
Or am i dreaming that such a combo adaptor exists?

I have them and they work fine. Never had an issue since I got them about a year ago. I have a PS4 and sky box connected to the second one through Ethernet cable.

Thats great cheers..do you know does it work out if u buy say a 7 or 800mb powerline does that allow more speed to what its connected to.
My thoughts are if i buy a 7 or 800mb would i get more connection speed or does it depend on your internet speed or router.
Example if i had an 800mb one and for whatever reason due to my router or bband speed i could only get say 400, would it be a waste spending money on a higher speed powerline?
my bband speed is around 14mb btw when wired into router

For the Internet they are limited by your connection but say for sending things locally around you're network then potentially the higher rates ones the better. If it's just for Internet use them they are fine.

Dont bother with anything over AV200 IMO, wiring in most houses just isnt up to going much faster.

I use for online gaming, have an android box which i watch streamed movies on and then netflix on my smart tv. And of course 2 mobiles and a tablet in the house on wifi.Would 500mb suit that usage?

I think they will be fine for your usage.
