Bought a 100l belt driven compressor in EPT in carlow a few months back. 360e I think it was
Have bought a few of those compressors from aldi alright they won't take heavy use

B&Q. Also Aldi and Lidl have definitely had them for sale recently, and 2bh often dont sell out that quick, worth looking in your local stores if ya haven't already. Any Air compressor for 100ish will have a reasonably high chance of breaking down, so make sure ya keep the receipt (I usually email myself a photo of the receipt), the 3 above places in general are good for money back returns.

Doubt if it would get the tire on the bead if ya mean, but otherwise yep, just slow enough. However way way way faster than any sorta 12v portable one!

They are a waste of time, get a decent one that the 4x4 off roading lads uses.

Would a pto driven one be an option? Think you can get them quite cheap. They don't have a tank but might be a better option if you need mobility

The 12v ones are fine for a car or bike but not for a tractor too slow to pump big wheels
A PTO one is a better job
Lidl or aldi compresses are ideal around the farm big enough to do lots of jobs and small enough to put in the boot of car or move around the place. These crowd do similar ones next day delivery

They usually get fecked up by the neighbours though. In a rush, can't be ar$ed to put them on the tractor properly, then they fall off, pipe connection gets busted. You'd be better off to get one with a tank, not as easy for the neighbours to borrow it then.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

You shouldn't be lending your neighbours nothing. This lending and borrowing is a joke.

Had 2 pto compressors broken by neighbours they had the second one for years and didn't want to give it back . Had a lad looking to borrow something lately that I didn't have.

    I disagree.
Even though we are reasonably well kitted out here I never refuse a neighbour. I've yet to ask any favours in return, but the day I do ask, they'd better jump to it!

You will be greatly disappointed, the man that is always borrowing things is the man that has nothing. A rough operator who's equipment consists of a diesel avensis with no test or tax, single axle trailer with no lights and more holes in the floor than swiss cheese, a worn vise grips with the spring missing, a hammer and a worn out pliers.

You seem to know my neighbour very well. :D

Ourselves and two neighbours borrow and lend all the time. If something happens whatever bit of equipment generally the user fixes it unless it's an issue due to age or whatever. These same neighbours have kept this place going when needed here as dad did for them in the past and I will hopefully be able to do in tge future should the need arise. If people are going to fall out over small things in life you won't be long getting isolated. Be good to them and they'll be good to you and it's when serious help is needed you won't be long forgetting about a bit of gear

Anyway to get back on topic the T-max 12 volt would be one of the best ones out there. Yes it wont be as quick as a mains one but if lads have time to be on social media they have the time to wait an extra minute or two to pump a wheel.

    Efficiency.
A bigger compressor gives you more time to spend on social media.

€100 for the bigger one, €80 for the smaller one. Smaller one is fine for cars.
