Hi I am UPC/Virgin Media broadband user and my Thomson cable router is not working and in getting a hissing sound so I think it has given up on me. I need to buy a new router today as I need internet access ASAP, does anyone know if third party cable routers are supported by Virgin Media Ones such as TP Link Ac750 Cable…

Call UPC on monday, you'll have one tuesday. Their CMTS wont accept third party kit so dont bother trying to buy anything.
