Setanta - Subscribe to HD package if already paying for Sky HD?

I'm already paying 15 euro for HD channels with Sky. Setanta in the subscribe now section has a SD package for 21.99 euro per month and a HD package for 25 euro. Which will I need to subscribe too in order to watch the channels they have in HD? Surely I shouldn't have to pay twice for HD?!

    Thanks for the info.

Will I just subscribe to the SD package then? There's 4 euro in the difference, not a lot I know but no point in paying that extra 4 euro either if there isn't any need too.

Setanta get nothing from Sky so you aren't paying anyone twice for HD. You will be paying two separate subscriptions, both of which happen to have HD subs.

You probably shouldn't be paying full price for a Setanta subscription. They quite often have offers available. Recently they were offering a year for €129. It has expired but there would be no harm in ringing and asking to avail of it. All they can say is no!

Also they may coming up to Christmas offer a €1 for a month deal for new subscribers. Cancel after 30 days and they will usually offer a reduced monthly rate for you to remain a subscriber.
