Technomate TM Nano 3T vs Edision Optimuss vs ?

    Hi All,

    Have an Amiko Alien 2 currently and looking to upgrade to a faster/more powerful box with similar functionality to AA2.

    I have looked at the Nano 3T and Edision Optimuss OS3 (OS2?) as possible replacements, both have faster CPU's and more RAM but both seem to be over a year old and I wonder if there is something in similar price range I should buy instead e.g. https://www.satellitetv.ie/linux-hd-satellite-tv-receivers/technomate-twin-oe-hd

    Any recommendations of which box is best and where to buy from would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    Both are the same box underneath like the alien 2 and the sab triplex, so get whichever one you can find cheaper. I have a os3+ and at the beginning I hated it because the software was so buggy but it has settled down a lot in the last 8 months or so.

    I see this for sale on freetv.ie http://www.freetv.ie/edision-optimuss-os-3-plus.html but it seems to actually be the OS2 (older version?) Where did you buy from?

    I bought it from them, couldn't recommend them enough, the os2 doesn't do saorview, it only has the 2 sat tuners.
