I bought 2 pairs of Bt homeplugs 200mps, the pass through version for £29. It works out at 18.90 for a pair and then when you add it again, its discounted to 29 plus 1.95 for postage . Its cheaper to use sterling and Revolut.

Hi. Genuinely not trying to thread spoil but it's worth pointing out that 200Mbs homeplugs are fairly old tech and it would be well worth the few pound extra to get av500's or even av1000's.

You dont get close to the full stated bandwith so if you have 50Mbs broadband or higher or if you want to stream hd from local content you'd find those to be a bit of a bottleneck still.

If you add a pair of D Link 500mbps twin pack it comes to £33.00

    Might be a better buy

    thanks.

if I buy the two twin packs, am I not left with one spare plug for plugging into a router? Can I just use the one wireless plug out of the second box to add to the first twin pack?

I have 5 in my house. As long as one is plugged into your router its all good.

Your hair won't grow back but they will drop in price again.
