Any lads any experience of this. We're up north was just wondeirng do the ROC payments happen in the south also. Was lamenting over a 12w system for a shed roof, roof in question is around 50ft x 20ft. think its large enough. 'apparent' return on investment 20%, pay back period 5-7 years, with guaranteed fixed roc payment of around 1500 sterling per year for 20 years . Any experience or thoughts?

No unfortunately not. Great scheme. To be honest the technology is improving all the time so what is a standard panel now will be decreased by half in 5yrs with the same output and we hopefully might start that scheme down south but there will be a few more years of insulation retro first. Pv will be a money maker down here in next few years but with everything timing will be everything.

yes 12kw is what i meant to say. Apparently they are cutting the ****e out of it in march down to 8 something pence , making it effectively not worth doing. As far as i know, the government have a target uptake and once they reach that all financial incentives will be pulled. Just like everything
