Anyone know how I could add a static route on the F1000, basically looking to block googles DNS servers from the network or at the very least redirect the requests to another DNS.

    Why ?

In any case you just need to block 53 TCP/UDP to Googles DNS on your modems firewall

He wants to bypass Geo restrictions on a chromecast or similar. Which is prohibited on this forum...

Geo restrictions take place by IP address - DNS has diddly squat to do with it

    quoted for lolz

xyz DNS Technology is the new and more advanced method to unblock US websites and stream region blocked content. Only the information/data needed to determine your geographical location needs to be sent and rerouted through a xyz DNS Proxy server in order for you to unblock content on US websites.

Well to be fair it is probably the most common reason any one would have for hobbling the Google DNS requests. It's the reason I did it in my router lol.
