Laptop under €300

    Can anyone recommend a laptop in this price range? It's for a Xmas present and will generally only be used for internet, watching movies and other basic tasks.

    Pretty much all the laptops around 300 quid are gonna be of very similar spec. Problem with buying from Dell is that I'm not sure if you'll get it in time for Christmas but it gives you an idea of what to expect, or look for if you're going to a brick and mortar shop.

    Thanks for that. I did consider Dell but wasn't sure if they be able to deliver before Xmas and I need to buy online as I'm based in Australia and the person I'm buying for is in Ireland.
