I'm due to run out of my High Tech prescription on December 28th. Will there be issues getting it over the christmas period? I know pharmacies don't usually keep a stock of it and order it as required

Why not bring in your prescription a week before and ask them to order it?

Or even give them a buzz today and ask them to get it ready.

Make sure to get all essential medication from your pharmacy in plenty of time. Please do not leave it to the last minute.

I take it once weekly so it will be the 21st and then the 28th this month. I'd usually ask for it in that week but with Christmas I'll just ask earlier.
Will they give it to me before I run out of my current supply.

    Of course.

Chemists will be open over the Christmas period although it will be limited.
Ask now rather than later and they will put something in place, either dispense early or arrange a time when you can get it.

It's more them getting it from the supplier in concerned about. As you know, they don't always keep a stock of high tech meds in Chemists

I've found they will if they *know* you'll be in for it. Just warn them on Monday you'll want it on the 28th, and they'll have it stocked. Depedning on what it is they can dispense earlier for you to store in your fridge and take on teh 28th anyway.
