    I made some profits on stock options, do they come in under income tax or capital gains tax?

    It depends on the circumstances.
    If you purchased them , it is CGT.

    If they were granted by your employer the it is Income tax that applies.
    There are all sorts of differences that then apply depending on whether the scheme is Revenue approved or not.
    Revenue form RTSO1 is used when making the return and payment.
    Watch out, for unapproved schemes you only have 30 days to pay up !
