    I can't believe this has happened to me right on top of Christmas too! I just got home to find all the windows wide open!! They've taken everything. It's all gone! I'm waiting for the guards! The dirty rotten thieving bastards. What kind of sick minded person would do that to another person? You are not human. You are low life scum!!!!!. That was my advent calendar and you had no right to open it and eat all MY chocolates......

    Yes yes, it is old but also mildly amusing.

    It's no joke.

    It applies to all calendars. A calendar is not just for Christmas.

    Due to the sudden death of the advent calendar the Predident just placed an advent wreath on the advent calendar. There will be a memorial service with the lighting of an advent candle on the advent wreath for the advent calendar later in advent.

    Did someone mention the advent of advent?

    I've only recently discovered Advent Calendars are not just those tacky things with a crap chocolate in it. You can get some really great ones (and there's even guides on how to make your own). I got one there that has a different tea bag for every day, each in their own cardboard box with a christmas poem.

    So, look around and get away from the normal ones you see being peddled in tesco etc..

    They need to re-invent the advent calendar that reflects the true wind up to Christmas - so one that takes it from early October to Christmas Day.
