Job seekers Allowance

Hey guys, so I'm doing a part-time course, I live with my Mom - self employed beautician and with my Stepfather - article truck driver, I applied for Job seekers Allowance because I have no income for myself, Im 18. My mother pays for my course.
When I applied the inspector asked me for 2014 moms business accounts, in them accounts she had no profit, the only income she had was back to work scheme payment of about 200 weekly, the inspector then asked me for step dad's payslip.
I've been waiting 6 weeks now, and still have no answer they just keep sending me new forms to fill in.
Does anybody know if theres point for me to even wait ? Does my step dad's income is taken into account? And hes average income is 400-500 weekly and moms is not taken into account, we pay 800 for rent. Do you think I am eligible?
And if I get my payment will I get it for all the weeks I've been waiting?
    Thank-you :)
