    Hi,

What does anyone think of the Silvercrest® 5V Power Bank @ €7.49

On sale today, reduced from €10.

It would do the business but it depends what type of phone you have and the size of the battery.

The battery is only 2600 mAh my phone battery is 3300 mAh alone.

Very handy if your need a last minute charge at the end of the day.

Although it's a little more expensive at $14.99 I would recommend the OnePlus power bank. Obviously not as portable as the Lidl one but enough charge size to last 3 - 4 charges https://oneplus.net/oneplus-power-bank

    Hope this helps.

Also the Lidl one is 1A output, will be slow charging most newer smartphones which have 2A chargers

Got one in lidl or aldi and brought it back

That one had no light to either tell when it's or the phone is charged (cant remember which one

Worse case you keep receipt and they'll return it hassle free, also the warranty is a bonus

I think Pennys sell similar sized power banks for about 6 quid.

I bought a Lidl one and an Anker one (off Amazon) of 5,200 mAh for both.

The Anker one charges up in half the time, and charges the phone faster.
Better to spend a little more on rechargeable batteries as it pays off in convenience.

bought for € 11.55 it charges my Samsung S5 maybe 4 times. Great when driving/ travelling. Quite fast on the phone, slower but useful on tablet.

Any of the Chinese phone sites sell them, around €12.

I got legit ones off Banggood.

Got a 22400mAh EC Technology one off amazon a while ago. Its cumbersome, but useful to throw into a car or if you always have a bag on you. Only needs charging every week if I use it daily.

Yeah, that's the plus with the warranty, 28 days/60 days return with Lidl/Aldi, although having no light to tell you is no good?

Looks, like a handy pocket size, as i bought one of those (AA battery) mobile charger as a last result in Dealz, as i had no idea on those Power Banks (also in €2 shops btwn €10-15) until i read the posts here
But the phone was too gone & was wanting it for the long bus journey home, just in case this bus didn't have the mobile charging facility on it, sadly it didn't on the way home :(

I think this is a perfect example of how not everything Lidl and Aldi is a good bargain.

Same I got this one off banggood and it comes with an authenticity seal that you scratch off to reveal a code, stick it in on the xiaomi website to confirm authenticity. Delivery takes ages though, nearly a month for me. I think they ship from China to Sweden then Sweden to Ireland
