Does anyone know the rates of import duties from USA?

Depends on whether you're importing for personal use or commercially and what you're importing and values.

If Revenue consider it a food supplement then it's possible it could be rated at zero VAT.

if its a food supplement it has import duty rate of 9% + €121.44 per 100 kg and a VAT rate of 13.5%

Commercial imports of food supplements and vitamins is required to comply with EU health and quality standards

Thanks Lads,

Just 4 tubs of 500 Gm Calm Magnesium (a digestive aid), very hard to buy Pharmaceutical grade Mg in Europe. Can buy cheaper quality, so no issues with prohibited product.

Is the 13.5 / 9% taxes on total costs, or is the a rate where it is not charged?
