Cost of installing 12 ft sliding wardrobe

    Hey all

    Has anyone a rough idea of what the above would cost? 4 sliding doors with a mirror on one. 10/12 drawers and clothes hanging bars and the rest shelves.

    They all differ in price depending on who you use. Sliderobes are more expensive than Fumro, then you have all the other smaller traders doing them.

    How many shelves? Drawers? Soft close? Hanging space?
    There's no one price. You'll have to price around a few.

    My ball park figure based on previous work would be about 2k plus.

    10/12 shelves. Drawers I mentioned above. Just ordinary mdf for shelves with a high gloss finish on doors plus a mirror.
    I have got a quote for well over 3 grand which I thought was crazy for what we are getting.

    Sounds about right tbh. They are expensive. I was quoted €1800 for the doors alone on 3 existing fitted wardrobes.

    Thanks. Ok. I have seen some pics and a lot of them are reliant on shelf space over drawers. I know they are cheaper than drawers.

    Supply and fit.
    MFC is being used instead of MDF. Is that much of an upgrade?
