Herd watch , Agri net , Kingswood which is best

    Beef/sheep farmer looking to get one of these phone systems seem to be handy enough. I know Agri net is that bit deerer than herd watch but is it worth it? Any opinions would be great thanks

    Agrinet here . Online grass program (worth€80) part of the yearly sub. An accounting program is in the pipeline afaik.

    Bord bia audit was much easier this time round also. I used a dated program from a company that no longer are in the farm package business before that

    Yeah from my bit of research I thought agriland came out the best but was just looking for people's views before I give 190 to them for the beef package

    Have been using Kingswood for around 13 yrs.easy to use and very helpful on the phone if I have a problem

    Cant fault agrinet for what you get for 190 its good value.
    BUT DONT FORGET TO DO BACK UPS OFTEN AND ON TWO DIFFERENT MEMORY STICKS. (lost a lot of data)

    Libreoffice, it's free. Yes there is a bit of a setup involved, but an evening with it and youtube tutorials may well save you a couple hundred euros a year.

    Kingswood user here for years backed up online to their servers
    Can't remember what the initial price was,but theres an annual maintenance charge of about 160 or 190 not sure
