can anyone recommend Clare architect or engineer , interested in possibly renovating house in terms of insulation heating and layout, house is mishmash of 100+ year old house, 70's extensions (bad) and early 90s re roof. heaps of bedrooms and poor en suites from previous life as B&B house, heating issues, multiple pluming systems, varying floor levels, bad/non existent insulation, very large sq footage. not sure where to start really, would like to talk to someone to see what if anything can be done or would cost be prohibitive
    feel free to pm me
    thanks

    Hey annubis,

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread, did you ever find your architect or engineer?

We are currently living in an old house in East Clare from the early 30s, part 50s extension, different floor levels, stone walls, block walls, no insulation etc and we are looking to renovate.

We are looking for advice, on what the scope of what we can actually do with the house is. Or are we best to demolish and start again!

If you managed to find anyone , I'd appreciate any feedback or advice.
