Thinking of getting some management tags this year for the lambs.

What do ye lads use and where do ye get them?

    I get these type ones

Then write the mothers tag number on em, and the lamb number... (1/2 or 2/2)

Can also write something on the underside of the tag if you want...

Ewe lambs are tagged on one ear, rams tagged the other ear, so you can see what's what easily.

They are big tags to be putting on small lambs all right, but I found too many lambs were losing these small tags...

That's what I do, others am sure have a better method / system...

Thanks - Sounds like a good system - Where do you buy those tags?

I believe Cormac Tags do a tag similar is style to those but smaller. They are a kind of halfway house. Those looped tags get caught on things easily.

I use the flexitags from mullinahone and find them great, would only lose one in a 100. They can print whatever numbers you want on them and do a few different colours 30c a piece I think they are
