state pension non contributory

    I receive state pension non contributory.

    I will be inheriting some money.

    I intend to use all of this money to buy a house that I will live in alone. I do not own any other property.

    Will I still qualify for state pension non contributory?

    Will it matter if there is a few weeks waiting time between receiving the money and exchanging contracts?
