Is clutch on the way out?

2010 Scenic, 90,000km, feels like a little slip/shudder in first while pulling away. No other symptoms yet.

Is that to be expected on car of this age/mileage and what does a new clutch install cost these days?

    Cheers.

Might be some oil contamination on the mating surfaces of the clutch?

Test for slipping in the usual way (put it under pressure and listen for higher revs and no corresponding increase in speed).

Possibly engine mounts. Car is only 5 years old so not sure which.
Have a mech take a look at mounts and check engine movement while on lift.

Age is irrelevant tbh, I know a fella that burnt out a clutch in brand new cruiser in 4 months.

How would engine mounts generate that feeling of slip?

It's hard to say how it would cause a feeling of slipping but you said shudder which to me could indicate mounts.
At least have a mech check before you go replacing clutch instead of mounts.

Also test it in high gear on motorway. Suddenly press pedal at 100kmph and if revs jump but car doesn't change speed it's more likely to be clutch.

Could also be a release bearing or your pressure plate
