Volvo V40 Vibration in Passenger Door Cavity

I have a vibration in the passenger door cavity (well it appears to be coming from there). I first noticed it a few months ago, thought there was a problem with the speakers and so booked the car in for a check. The dealer found a piece of plastic in the cavity. Happy days I thought! Problem solved! Unfortunately not.

The problem is back again. I've tried to see if anything is stuck in the cavity but the area is too tight to get into (you can barely fit the tips of your fingers in). It really is a terrible design on Volvos part. The cavity is really narrow but also really deep. It goes right down the length of the door. The vibration presents itself when listening to music, anything with a bit of bass sets it off (hence why I originally thought something was stuck in there). We've tried inserting various long instruments down the gap but haven't come across anything restrictive.

I've searched online and the problem appears to be quite common. Something to do with foam. I've noticed when the vibration occurs, if I pull on the passenger door cavity, the noise stops.

This will be my third time contacting the dealer. The first was the time stated above, the second was a few weeks ago when I dropped my car in for a standard service (I mentioned that I thought something was stuck However, upon receiving my car after the service, I was told nothing was there which makes me look quite stupid).

Any ideas? Has anyone with a V40 experienced this? Pretty peeved as it's brand new rebel blue D4.

Have one myself - 151 model also - and never had this issue occur.
